Public Displays of Privacy
320 S Broad St, 19102New Paradise Laboratories, a Philadelphia-based experimental theatre think-tank, has invented an online theatrical practice. Its performances exist in a crossover space between real space and the virtual. In this seminar, New Paradise will open the laboratory doors to explicate its methods and propose a possible future for the delivery of live theatre. Artistic Director Whit MacLaughlin and Dramaturg/Playwright Larry Loebell will conduct the seminar. It will include excerpts from online theatre pieces Fatebook and Extremely Public Displays of Privacy.
